Access Routes and Links (updated)

Algarve has very good accessibility, being easily reached by air, through Faro International Airport (FAO), by road or by train. Algarve (Faro Airport) is just a few hours flying time away - 6-8 hours from North America and 2-3 hours from most European cities and is served by a large number of low-cost companies.
The connection from Faro International Airport to the hotel may be done by taxi, mini-van or bus. On Sunday, 6th, the congress secretariat will provide shuttle buses between Faro Airport and the hotel, at 12h00, 14h00, 17h30 and 19h00.  For those arriving out of this time frame, the best option will be a taxi, with an approximate cost of 65 EUR. Mini-vans for up to 8 persons (85 EUR) are also available upon request to the hotel.
For those flying to Lisbon, the connection to the hotel may be done through a connecting flight to Faro, by train or by bus. An exclusive transfer is available from Lisbon Airport (Arrivals lounge) by 16h30 of Sunday, 6, with a cost of 15 EUR per person (paid in the bus). A member of the Organising Committee will be waiting for the participants close to the Meeting Point. The trip will have a small stop (15 min) and the arrival at Carvoeiro is scheduled to 19h30. For those not intending to use this exclusive bus, the connection by regular bus is recommended:  from Lisbon (Terminal Rodoviario de Sete Rios, served by the Aerobus shuttle from Lisbon International Airport, 3.50 EUR) to Lagoa (7.5 Km from the hotel), buses depart every 90 minutes approximately (260 Km, 3h, 19 EUR, check timetable).

Language

English will be the official language of the conference.

Publications

A book of abstracts will be provided on-site.

A special peer-reviewed issue of Electrochimica Acta will be dedicated to this conference. Those who want to have a paper considered for inclusion in this issue should have indicated their intention during abstract submission.
The requisite for a paper to be published is that the content of the paper was effectively presented and discussed at the conference. Thus, the submission of full manuscripts, via the Elsevier Editorial System (EES), will take place from the last day of the meeting (June 11) until Sunday, July 18. Further instructions will be sent to the authors.

Exhibition

A Technical Exhibition will be organized, allowing manufacturers and users of materials, instruments, software and publications to contact and exchange information. Potential exhibitors should contact the Congress Secretariat for specific information.
